Backbreaker! (copyright 1991) Words & Music by M. Breen Horn arrangements by M. Breen I met her at the docks-she was a deadly pretty gal She said someone was after her-and that they'd killed her pal She needed a shoulder to cry on-so I offered one of mine Unknowing She was six foot one-a very healthy dame I really can't recall-if I ever got her name The last thing I remember-she had a hold of me I couldn't shake her. People come and go, but what do all those people know? Backbreaker! When I finally regained consciousness she was nowhere near the scene She'd got my gun and wallet-then she'd got away clean She left me lying prostrate-in a puddle of my own ooze Uncaring When I finally caught up with her-she created quite a scene I plucked her from her boyfriend- who looked a lot like ÒMr. CleanÓ But when I'd finally tamed that mustang I realized to my surprise I couldn't take her Women come and go, but they don't show me anything I already didn't know.
